At this moment in time, I have 3,999 hits on my site. Actually 2,999, I started with 1,000 so it would look like I was "really busy". Anyway, just wanted to share with you all. Pretty cool, I think. And a good portion of those, maybe 40% to 50% are Google hits and other search engine hits. None are from me. I have the site meter set to ignore my computer.
The sad part is, I have only made a hand full of sales off the site. Go figure.

The site meter is on the lower left hand of the screen. Thanks for putting up with my bragging.

Congratulations Larry, you are my 4,000, sorry 3,000 visitor. And by the way, thanks for the roll.:eek:

You win the satisfaction of knowing you made an old, lonely man happy.

Awesome, thanks Butch.

And I see Keller, Texas there too.

This system is pretty cool. I can track a lot of info. And they are making it better in a couple of weeks. Upgrades and the such.

Steve, you really have a nice site. How long has it been up? It will take a while to get many sales out of it. The main thing is to have enough hits to put on the first couple of pages of the search engines.

Steve, My tracking will show me who, or at least what computer people are looking at my site from. there are a few that sort of stuck out to me. I would notice them coming back time and time again. Many of my customers will watch my site for a year or more before they order. 2000 hits with a handful of orders is not bad averages.

OK, I went back, changed to a different page and it was there. Went backto the home page and it was there.

Very nice website.

Some times it takes the icon a minute to load. Even does it to me some times.

Thank you. I get quite a few front page hits on Google and the like. Some are even first three or four down. I'll take it.

Mine will give me IP numbers of the linking computer. As well as the ISP, so I could keep track. I don't actually keep track that often. Maybe I'll start. See who comes back. Maybe Site Meter will have a way to track such things in their new software.

Steve-
Very nice site. Did you put it together yourself? ...maintain it yourself? If so, what program do you use? Also, who does your web hosting?
-Steve
P.S. You took the site name I was considering using.

My middle Son helped with the initial design. I maintain and update it myself. Did some pretty dramatic color and style changes a while back, but the basic format stays the same. I use Microsoft Front Page to maintain it and Hosting Solutions is my web host. I am happy with them. I like the fact that they charge a flat rate for unlimited pages within a certain gig range.
