After getting everything ready on my end for a two month work trip to Florida, My brother just called and excuse excuse excuse..... I am not going.


So, to all my Kintucky friends... Looks like the meeting will have to wait. I am going back to Floor Covering with vengeance now, so soon enough i will be able to afford to come to visit on my own!!



i am so stinking pi&&ed...

LOL.... Yes Ma'am, My dreads are gone. I still have my hair (what was left after combing (read RIPPING) the knots out).

Thanks for the words everyone! I will make this all work out for the general good. It has at least spurred me to come out of early retirement. I just hope my body can keep up. There is a saying in floor covering, you get 20 years, or until you are 40, whichever comes first and i am quickly approaching both. With the invent of new tools and techniques, I think i can get a little more!

The major bummer (for some i guess it will be a blessing) is that i won't be spending much time around here.
 
The best of luck to you and your delayed vacation. Glad to hear your dreadlocks are gone, now your business will pick up. Oh wait, maybe that is not a good idea since you are trying to wind down.
 
You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, you can even pick your friend's nose, BUT YOU CAN'T PICK YOUR FAMILY. You just got to love them the way they are.

Sorry the Florida trip didn't work out, Ron. New adventures are always exciting.
