I am in St Louis, and looking for a new engraver. The local person I used raised their rates 50%.

Is there a list of people willing to engrave?

Also, if you have an engraver, I would love to hear about it.
Cost, time, profit?

Check out his work. He is an excellent engraver, gives excellent customer service, and an all around great person.
Do a good turn daily!

I use the services of John Driscoll, a fellow woodworker and lurking forum member, who can laser just about anything. He has done several laser jobs for me and I have seen the results of many of his projects, some of which are very impressive. I am fortunate in that he lives in Arlington, Texas, just miles from my house but know he does jobs and sends them all over the country.

I sent you a PM with his email address, contact him with your needs and see what he charges.

Ken Nelsen has worked with me for 3 years and done consistently amazing work. He has helped me meet numerous deadlines and his prices are reasonable and competitive. I just wish he lived next door. He and Gisele are truly delightful people.

Add my vote for Ken. He does excellent work. I've looked around here and haven't found anybody local who will say they do pens - they say "oh, we can engrave anything", but I prefer experience, not experiment, even if it does take a few days to mail the pens out and back.
