Where to find gel rollerball refills

I gave away some PSI classic elite2 rollerballs to a friend. They come with gel rollerball which he prefers, however his work requires blue ink for pens. I searched PSI but they don't carry gel rollerball refills and exotic blanks had gel Schmidt's but no gel rollerballs. Does anyone have a source for these refills?

Here's a few common ones that will fit and are easy to find, displayed in a classic elite II. Pilot does have a needle point option, too. I just don't have one handy to add to the comparison pic. IMO, the best place to buy Pilot refills is directly from the Pilot website. They are priced very well and have a small threshold for free shipping. I personally prefer the needle point in a narrower pen, but I think they look ridiculous in a Jr. or full sized pen.

Cross makes roller ball gel refils. I use them in my Atrax but you will need a small sleeve over the shaft to set the protrusion

I buy the Pilot G2 pens in whatever color and tip size I need (I prefer bold, but fine is most common). Then I take out the refill and toss the rest. I've found that I can buy complete Pilot G2 pens cheaper than I can buy just the refills, plus the pens are easier to find in retail than the refills are. So far all of the Pilot G2 refills have fit on all of the rollerball pen styles I have tried them in. - Dave

I find the G2s to perform better than th Schmidt 5888s. When I sell a pen I include a 5888 but I insert a G2. I feel they last longer, don't dry out as quickly, and write just as well (eve better over the long run). At about $1 each, they are a great deal.
