What Cav said. I just don't wanna give anyone a complex or something like that.

What do you mean, Inspiration? I wish I had half the skill they have. Some awesome work. Gotta show LOML these pages. That will explain why I won't show my bowls at an art show.

Me too, my LOML thinks my bowls are beautiful, but I know better, after seeing some of our own Ed Davidson's work and some of the other AAW turners, you really have to wonder just what planet of superior intelligence these guys dropped in from.

Uff ... I feel a little better after reading your comments; I was afraid you would all say "That is no problem to make". That what shoot my lathe right to the garbage.

I agree .. the skills of this people is high, super high.

More of this great pieces can be seen on "Daniel's collection" on http://www.thedanielcollection.com/Gallery.php

We have a long way to go, my friends; but when we get there :) :) :) :) :)

I find its not the mechanical skills i lack so much as the design skills. It takes me 6 months to come up with a mediocre design and years of tweaking to get it right. Mike

One other thing. Forget the inspiration. Did anyone else motice the prices! I would die with excitement to sell for those prices. It's hard enough to explain to folks why a big leaf maple burl with stone inlay is $100. Cheap bastages!

Very very nice!! I'm still trying to perfect my pen making. Those pieces are incredible.

I agree, Tim. Selling for this prices must be quite exiting .... but I think we all agree that skills and great products must come first; only then the prices can go to this level.
