Not much really, just stick around for a couple of days, give the guys a chance to set it up, and bingo.
If after a few days you still can't post pics, then a friendly e-mail to the Man will normally work.

I wouldn't have asked the question on the forum though[;)]

What is an album account? I guess that I am stupid because I figured that this was the best place to ask a general question. Man it is getting tough on this site to ask a question and not be told that you did something wrong.[:(]

Let's see, you joined on 5/27 and today is 5/30. It might take an extra day to get it set up because of the holiday. But, you can post pictures in SOYP whether you have an album or not.

See Gerry, I thought that there was something special that I actually had to do - you know, fill out a form, send money, or something... not just wait.

As was commented in a different thread: pen turners are the only group of people that use an accelerator to make an "instant" glue cure faster. So patience is probably not my strong point.

It's usually pretty automatic, but if you still don't have one today, send an email to Jeff, the "head cheese."

I think Steven's post was probably mis-understood. I don't believe he meant that you shouldn't ask, but it maybe should have been asked in the "Help Using the Forum" forum. We occasionally have semantic problems here because the whole place is referred to as a "forum" and each of the sub-headings, like "Show Off Your Pens" and "Casual Conversation" are also called forums. So sometimes it can get confusing, and besides he's English so what does he know about English?[:D]

Yes, you do need to send money. Send me an e-mail for the correct mailing address.[:D]

From one Steve to another, please never read any malice into my posts and replies. I would never do that. Except to people like that Gerry bloke[}:)] I do try to put a 'smiley' in my reply where they could be misunderstood.

PS Welcome to the IAP Steve. It's a really great place even though there are so many Americans[:D][:D][}:)]

Gee Gerry, You really are showing your age using quotes like that.[8D]
Does anyone know how the quote originated?
Though I do wish we had some of that sun right now, it's supposed to be summer here and the weather is crummy.[:(!]

It's from a song written by Noel Coward and as usual he was poking fun at the upper classes of the UK, particularly those sent off the tropical places to administer British rule. Mad dogs are actually rabid dogs who of course have no sense left in them. The line in the song is "mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun." Of course, everyone else in those tropical climes was inside avoiding the heat.
