I am currently in the process of making a fly pen and i was wondering what the best thing is to attach the flies to the tube

Which type of flies? Winged or fishing?

Tiny drops of CA and let it fully cure/off-gas if you're going to cast it. I wouldn't use accelerator.

Fishing, I was thinking ca but my concern was the gassing so I will let it sit before I cast

I think Ken has it right. There was a bit of discussion about how to bend the hook around the tube and hold the fly down so it would not stick out of the PR. Best I remember, it ended up as a mini tutorial.
NO DO NOT USE FLY PAPER! Once you touch it, it is all over. You i mean. I hung some last year and then backed into it. Very bad move! Gummy sticky gunky stuff allover my hair. UGH! Don't do it!

If you use this, just let it dry completely also. Most of this style of glue is water based and both PR and Alumilite hate water.....
Don't rush it and you will be happy!
