1 a.m. That's right 1 o'clock I heard them in the living room giggling and opening stuff. About killed them, but figured it was Christmas so I just let them have at it. I did remind them that there was nothing left when they were done, but it didn't seem to bother them.

8:30 here and I had to make a bunch of noise and he still did not wake, so after making sure he was breathing me and my wife went down stairs and about 10 minutes latter he came running. Now if I wanted for him to wake I would have just needed to cozy up on the couch with my wife and kiss her and he would have been between us for sure.

Merry Christmas all.

Dave

The younger one struggled out of bed around 9:15 and his older sister around 9:30

The biggest kid in my house(me) had a slow start this year. 07.00. This was very late for me as it has always been a joke in my family that I kick everbody out of bed in the morning and then after giving them their presents. I sneek back to bed for an hour while the wife starts cooking the turkey

12 yr old daughter and 16 yr old son. The wife and I have always had to wake them up, including this morning. Our tradition on Christmas is to wake up, enjoy a cup of coffee, read the paper, listen to holiday tunes and then get the kids up when we want to.

Hmmm, well I was still up about 3 am when I heard the first wave try to peek thier way into the living room and had to shoo them off to bed, but from the best I can tell when they pulled me out of bed in the morning, it had to be about 6:30 because half way into "rippin' time" my cell phone's alarm went off for 7am.

** I was up late trying to get a late start on dinner, I made turkey and needed to allow the brine to cool in the shop before I put the turkey in to soak for about 8 hours.
