Judging by the picture title it could be a manufactured pen that someone turned a new barrel for.

Actually those pens used to make those use to come from Wally World. Not sure if they still carry them or not.

I've got some laying on my desk right now. They did come from Walmart; but I don't know if they still sell them or not. Originally, the barrel is in two parts. The upper half is a silver colored metal sleeve and the lower part is a rubber soft grip. Mine are blue; but I think they come in several colors. As I recall they came in 3-packs and were about $3 per pack. They take a Parker refill.

I can post a picture of one tomorrow if you want to see what they look like in original form.

There ws a thread about these pens and the conversion posted on IAP......maybe within the last year or so. Maybe I can find it for you??

There are several other threads on the subject. If you want to see them, use the IAP advanced search engine.

Plug "Walmart" in the keyword field.
Plug "splinter99" in the user name field
Set the date to "ANY"
And ask for threads.

That should get you a list of 7 threads, not all of which are about the pen in question.

Doesn't Aaron Lau sell a kit similar to this on his website? I love the kits with the longer barrels, show more of the product you choose to make the pen out of.

Just visited Walmart last night and while they did not have that exact pen, they had one that was very similar. Price is even better than I remembered..........three for $1.97!!
