This is a blank I made while experimenting with embedding different things in resin. Can anyone guess what i used?

Wow, first guess gets it! Well, part of it. There is also brass shavings mixed in as well. Of course, had to be someone from the cold north!:biggrin:

I burn them here but didn't think I had it to tell you the truth. The texture was right though. I burn wood pellets. Saves me a ton of money! What does it look like turned though?

I burn them here as well so the other night while loading up the hopper I filled up a solo cup and brought some to the shop. That blank is rough turned round already. aside from the one square end due to only having a spur center and not a dead center. ordering one soon though!
