Hey All,

What type of plastic does Polyester Resin NOT stick to?
I know I have read it here before, but can't find it.

Thanks,
Steve

Silicone, for sure. I've read here the material that plastic cutting boards are made of works too, but I like silicone becasue it twists.

Plastic cutting boards are made from polypropylene, HDPE and UHMW. PR may stick as it cures but will pop off after curing.

You can also buy expanded PVC sheeting by the panel in a wide range of thicknesses. PR doesn't stick to it either. Farco carries 1/4" to 1/2" in 4'X8' panels at their local facilities.

Handy thing with the PVC sheeting is that you can glue it together with PVC glue(solvent) and build stuff, like a shelf unit for your presure pot and not have to worry about screwing it together.

pvc pipe

Would PR stick to pvc pipe? You know the white pipe used for drain and water lines, etc..
