What Do You Think Of This Design?

This is not to scale and it won't necessarily be this color. This is just a quick drawing and the shape fill looks vaguely wood like. I would use it for a kitless or sem-kitless. I'm not sure about the reverse taper. I might take a scrap and turn it and see what it looks like.

Looking like the Panache is not a bad thing. I love the kit because the size allows you to show off the beauty of the wood.

Thanks. I was not aware of the Panache, but I am not surprised this is not a unique design. Mostly I was thinking about different shapes for closed end pens when they are not limited to kit pens.
