Folks, I have a great story to tell ya.
Last November I posted here that we were expecting our first child. What I did not post here was that right at Thanksgiving, we miscarried at 7 weeks. That was a very hard time, and I know a LOT of you here have probably had the same tragedy.
However, I know the Lord is faithful, and right now we are 20 weeks into what looks to be a very healthy, very good pregnancy, and it's a BOY (well, 80% sure according to the doc) and if not, well, I'm happy anyhow and I'll raise her as the biggest redneck tomboy you ever seen. What is REALLY cool is that the due-date for our boy is not too far from the date that we miscarried last year: Someone is smiling at us!
I want to make our likely-son (Isaac Christopher will be his name) something, and the obvious answer is a PEN.
So, which pen do you suggest? I will pick a suitable material soon, perhaps some wood from something from my past or from our city where he will be born (we will eventually leave the area when I graduate seminary).
I just can't pick a pen. Schnazzy like an Emperor, rugged like a big Sketch pencil, elegant like a Churchill, I dunno......
