Folks, I have a great story to tell ya.
Last November I posted here that we were expecting our first child. What I did not post here was that right at Thanksgiving, we miscarried at 7 weeks. That was a very hard time, and I know a LOT of you here have probably had the same tragedy.
However, I know the Lord is faithful, and right now we are 20 weeks into what looks to be a very healthy, very good pregnancy, and it's a BOY (well, 80% sure according to the doc) and if not, well, I'm happy anyhow and I'll raise her as the biggest redneck tomboy you ever seen
. What is REALLY cool is that the due-date for our boy is not too far from the date that we miscarried last year: Someone is smiling at us!
I want to make our likely-son (Isaac Christopher will be his name) something, and the obvious answer is a PEN.
So, which pen do you suggest? I will pick a suitable material soon, perhaps some wood from something from my past or from our city where he will be born (we will eventually leave the area when I graduate seminary).
I just can't pick a pen. Schnazzy like an Emperor, rugged like a big Sketch pencil, elegant like a Churchill, I dunno......
