I treated myself to a new set of bearings for my CarbaTec lathe. Wow!! It runs so quietly, I can't believe I waited so long to do it.

Also, thanks to the advice on my RAM question I installed 2 1 gig memory sticks to boost my Vista performance. Now, I can post my smart uh aleck remarks much faster! [8D] Watch out, DocStam and Ed4Copies!! ;)

Brian, I have fought this all day! I read and reread DocStram's stuff about reinvention; I even watched a few minutes of Oprah![:0] I have struggled as long as I can, and have to admit who I am. You can read faster if you stop moving your lips!!!!!!!!!!!!!![}:)][}:)][}:)][}:)];)

I'm trying to jump in here with something witty .... but, I'm all out of witty stuff. I think Cav's Salinger quote has me psyched out.

I told Cav, or maybe it was Salinger, that I don't hate it when he calls me a moron ... but, deep down inside ... I do hate it. What a moronic thought. And now, besides Cav and Ed ... even Mudder is turning on me. Who would have thought! [:I]

Heck, I am trying to figure out what a "femail" bearing is ... and I have totally lost the gist of what this thread is/was all about.

Whatever it is, the entire thingie is rather comical and good for a chuckle or two or three ... :D

BTW, I trust that all you dudes know one another quite well! ;)
