Went out to take fresh pics and made it 3/4's of the way down the driveway when I realized I was being watched......

The 6th pic shows where she decided to hide while I put out some apples. Across the street, then she laid down on my neighbor's porch out of the wind for a while.

Mike,
That's a nice surprise! Look what I found by my porch! Another shot of Mom and her Son...
We're taking their land, so they eat our trees...

WOW, I can't imagine going outside and seeing that kind of wildlife!! Then again, I do live in a pretty populated area...in Texas.

The deer has come back to finish the Job on your truck......

Look at her trying to be all stealthy and hiding in the snow, she even has some on her head.

Mike are you guys ever going to get out of the snow, the next one is supposed to go south of us but will take a left turn at Florida and go right uo the east coast some more. Un- Freaking believable 6 feet of snow in Baltimore, Man oh man sure glad I'm not there or Philly, or any where on the right coast. 10uhsee is bad enough.

Well you see wildlife on Broadway ave. in San Francisco every day! And its not the four legged type!

I would love to see the moose, I see the deer in the backyard all the time. Not during the day though, during the summer they like to mow down my garden.

I had to dodge a couple coyotes near Royal and (IIRC) Hillcrest in Dallas once. Had a barn owl that would hang out on my balcony near Central and Royal, and we used to get bobcats in the small courtyards at work in Richardson from time to time. Almost hit a beaver on my bike in White Rock Park once, too.

We would occasionally get deer and quail in the yard of our previous house, and we shot a fair number of skunks when we caught them downwind, but I think seeing a moose in the yard would have me looking for something a lot meaner than a camera.

Living on the edge of a relatively small town, and having some land about 5mi out, I guess I sometimes take the critters for granted. I need to get out with the camera more often.
