S spiritwoodturner Guest Mar 18, 2009 #3 Don, Darley did a great tutorial on just this process. For some reason I couldn't find it in the forums, but found it in search. Here it is: http://www.penturners.org/forum/showthread.php?t=39545&highlight=coffee+bean . If you want to see my setup, I live 20 minutes from you. I doubt you'll find his screen, so I came up with something for $1.97. Layers, IMO, are not the way to go. Come over, I'd be happy to show you what I've found to be the best way. See ya, Dale
