Folks,

Just turned a couple Cigar and Sierra watch part pens and the complaint I heard from my wife and another person is not comfortable in their hands as they feel "Too Clunky". I was thinking of turning a couple of slimlines but don't know if anyone has had success. Has anyone here done it and posted any end results pictures? I'm guessing beause of the thin nature of these pens, only the thinnest of parts and probably forget using CF and I need to paint the tubes?

I didn't take pictures but I did a carbon fiber with a Tx Quarter on a slimline and the guy that bought it and I thought it looked pretty nice. Just keep the parts away from the ends of the tube so you can get down to the bushings without tearing it apart. Good luck.

Ditto that and make sure you pull your carbon fiber very tight (makes it thinner).
