Watch Parts Casting Blank - How To?

I've seen a couple of the Mesa/ Easy Grip/ Wall St. II pens made out of the clear casting with watch parts. How are these made? I'm curious as I'd like to try to make a few, but need a little guidance.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
