But for an additional treat Mars, Venus and Saturn are gathering within a small area near the crescent moon. The planets are visible to the naked eye in the western sky, and are best from dusk until about 10. After which meteor shower steals the show.

Anyone else notice that the sky is really starts to light up just as the candles on Jeff Brown's birthday cake get extinguished??
