I had some incomplete slimline/euro kits, and thought of incorporating a bigger central beads made out of old skateboard.
Its not perfect, one of the clip&finial are off size, but overally Im satisfied and probably going to develop this design further in the future, with more complicated beads.

Great use of leftover material. Never point out any flaw, most won't notice it unless you tell them.

In tact, not as much as you think. The skateboard is not flat, but curved in many directions,so are the layers. Also, used skateboards are usually cracked along the truck holes. Both ends got splited layers. So only a part of the middle of the board can be used. But it its still enough for a lot of beads,or like 50 rings
