Wall St and Sierra differences

Something I learned this weekend you cannot interchange a Wall Street 2 tranny and tip with a Sierra tranny and tip will not work. Wall Street Tranny is longer to accomadate the shorter part on the tip that inserts into the tube. Sierra's have a shorter tranny because of the part that goes intot he tubes is quite a bit longer. Just some ramblings on my part

Are you sure you're not confusing a Wall street 3 and the sierra Vista with the regular models?
