Another study found Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of beer a year.

That means, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon.

That ain't nuttin'!

I drink about 3 gallons of gin a year so I get 300 miles per gallon [8)]



I wonder if I can get a tax rebate for being an "economy model"?

Leave it to Mudder to think economical. My wife walks three miles a day, half is for [)] me though, and with my past pepsi consumption my energy consumption would not be green but probably black. [:I]

Scott, I LOVE gin! But I can't drink it because I'm allergic.

I break out in spots.









If I start drinking gin, I'm liable to break out in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Rio...[:0][]

That's the problem with beer...it's "regular"...you get much better mileage from Hi-Test! I can get about 100 miles out of a fifth of Bourbon...of course, most of that is technically staggering, so not sure if it counts as walking...

I wonder what my mileage is. Let's see...... 1 pint of milk,1 pint of water,and 1 pint of tea. 3 pints of liquid a day. Maybe I'll have to start drinking beer. Even though I'll get in trouble. Heh! Heh![}][}]
