Richard Raffans house guest Benoit gave us a demo of a small lidded bowl, then a comprehensive slide show of current trends in woodturning in France by his mates and his versions. Richard is a member of our ACT Woodcraft Guild and the next morning they left for A Woodturning Symposium over a thousand miles north in Brisbane.

Awesome stuff. I'd love to see Benoit Averly demonstrating. I attended a demo Richard Raffan done here over a year ago and got him to sign 3 of his books that i have. Great guy, love to meet him again.
