This is a PSI Vesper pen in gunmetal. It's the stylus version. The wood is ipe, given to me by one of the ladies at work. Her son used to work in a cabinet shop. The finish is Pens Plus. Nice looking pen.

When I started roughing it, it was really hard. I've turned ipe before, and it's dense, but it wasn't THIS dense. Then it dawned on me. Because of the way I cut it, it ended up being diagonal grain. I cut it from a round piece, that I was going to use for a wedding pen stand, but it was too small.

I engraved it for her. That's her name in Italian (Ann Marie), and on the other side it says female master chef. I think. I hope Google got it right!
