Very, very sad

When you walk around the house several times looking in each room for your favorite glasses. Finally finding another pair you don't like as well and use them. After sitting at the computer for a while you find your glasses...........

I believe that is an age thing.[] Happens to my mom all the time. I have never been one to put my glasses on top of my head. I've never really understood why other people do it either. Granted, I don't have reading glasses. Just normal prescriptions.

The funny thing for me is when my glasses are off and I go to rub my eyes, I act as if the glasses are on my head.

Rebecca, Don't feel alone. Once I turned my shop upside down looking for the pencil I had just a moment earlier. I finally went inside and accused my sweetie of coming out and stealing it. She started laughing then reached over and plucked the pencil from where I put it... over my ear!

I retired a little over a year ago and some ex co-workers wanted to know how my life was going so I crunched the numbers, fed the data into a computer and came out with the following pie chart.

I think it's pretty accurate and affects a lot of us! []

The really sad thing is it just gets worse[!] Now, when I tie my shoe laces, I try to think of other things that need doing while I'm down there!!!!![:I]

I saw something sad today too, a very elderly couple had filled up at a petrol station just before me. The poor old dear could not get the PIN number right to pay and after several goes and some people were getting pretty rude about the delay, even the cashier was giggling.
Not being blessed with any qualms of opening my mouth, I made a comment that shut them up and the old lady gave me a wink as she left.

That is so funny![] It reminds me when my buddy was talking to me a while ago and was fretting about something. I asked him what wrong, and he said, "I can't find my cell phoneâ€. I said back to him "Aren’t you talking on it with me?"[:0] I about died laughing.[]
