I will do a couple more of these before I move on. My clamping jig has helped to tighten up the joins.
Everything has been cut on the table saw and glued with PVA.

Not sure what you mean by "varying" degrees of success. I would say "universally gorgeous"!

The blank, which I didnt finish on the right hand side of the photograph, is an example of a fail, as the pattern went is mis-shapen due to faulty clamping when glueing.
 
Alan, it's interesting following your progression. Unfortunately, our individual processes of cutting and assembly whilst broadly similar, have their own unique quirks with our machine and jig setup etc. Steady improvement only comes from ironing out all the little bugs in our processes. Looks like you are sorting out quite a few. Nice work.
