Just a reminder to those who may forget these special days and I'm looking for a few good ideas. Usually I let LOML pick the movie at Blockbuster but after a few years I thought I could freshen up our romance with a little something extra, like a free subscription to weight watchers or a day with the remote. Of course a new pen is always nice.

Any more bright ideas?

Bruce, just a word of caution.....skip the subscription to weight watchers, been there, done that, bought the tee shirt and for some reason she didn't speak to me for a very long time.........come to think of it that's not bad:biggrin:

Yea forget the weight watchers. A gym membership would be better. Or a nice broom and mop set with a pair of oven mits are always nice.
and to top it off a $50 gift certificate to your local grocery store for her to buy all the fixings for a beautiful cadle lit dinner she can make you before you guys watch your movie together. May I suggest full metal jacket or hamburger hill.

Good luck and have a wonderful Valentines day.
LOL.

Bruce .... Think "Vacuum cleaners" .... women are pushovers for a new Hoover or even better , a Kirby with all the attachments  ....

Just ask my wife :beat-up:

I told the LOML that i'm not getting her anything till she uses that Christmas present that I got her last year. I thought the funeral plot was a thoughtful idea..... ;)

Does she need a new bandsaw maybe?

Custom tools rest, perhaps?

What about turning tools?

Remember, only the best for the LOYL!

How about letting the little lady park in the garage for a night since she can't get her car in on her side of the garage anymore!!!

And if she asks "Does this dress make me look fat?", the answer is not:

1) Compared to what?
2) No, but those last few buffets sure didn't help! (A friend of mine actually said that!)
3) Yeah, but it's a pretty fat

I was actually at a friends house when his wife asked that question. I wouldnt recommend his answer which was " No your fat makes that dress look fat!" We will just say I didnt stick around long after that. They were divorced about 6 months later.
