well worth the money, I use the 2 cfm pump for casting. the paint pot I do not know about, do not know if it will take the 29 bars of a vacuum that the pump will produce, I prefer a vacuum bell jar. If not a bell jar, I have seen a piece of PVC pipe and 2 plexiglass plates used as a vacuum chamber.

I have one and use it with the HF pressure pot. Works fine for degassing urethanes and for vacuum laminating and impregnations.

Remember if you are vacuuming PR that the styrene solvent will boil out of solution at 27"Hg.

Just got mine 2 days ago it's on sale now for I think $59.00 and get a 20% off coupon from a car magazine or something and get a really good deal.

Now does it work absolutely I'm impressed for H.F. quiet and pulls the full 29 almost gets 30 that is as far as my gage will go. I never had a that much vacuum before. Made a difference in my casting after I mix in cyst their's always air put it in the vacuum for 2 minutes comes out clear as water. And it only takes about 15 seconds to get the full vacuum in the pot.

Well worth every penny

It is one of the tools (dust collector is another) that is good ...

I added a fuel filter inline to catch some vapors.

but here's a coupon for a better deal.
