Vacuum Pump Fittings

My vacuum pump has this for the intake. Made for accepting AC hoses I assume. How can I adapt this to 1/4" NPT that I am using for the rest of my setup? I have looked at so many posts and can't find an answer. It's just the standard intake on the Harbor Freight and Robinair pumps.

I seem to recall replacing this fitting with a nipple that had NPT threads on both ends.

Pretty sure the threads on the bottom of the fitting are 1/4in npt threads so just replace it and work from there.

Home Depot, Lowes, HF etc all have 1/4 in fittings.

The bottom of that fitting is either 1/8npt or 1/4npt, both easily acquired.

It was actually 3/8". Got it working.
