Utah Woodturning Symposium

I registered for the symposium and got a letter from them saying that lodging is available on campus at BYU, dirt cheap compared to the hotels. Has anyone stayed on campus? What's your opinion?

I know guys who have, and they were upset last year when it wasn't available...so it must be a great deal.

It is a good deal in terms of price, only $26/night for a private room. But, I remember dorm rooms when I was in college decades ago and they were fairly marginal.

Gerry, I was there a couple of years ago. I have a lot of family in the area so I get free room and board. I met a guy that was not very happy with the dorm rooms. He had his wife with him and ended up with twin beds. If your wife is going with you, you might inquire about the sleeping accomendations.
I decided to go to the AAW Symposium in Portland this year and miss the Utah show.
