Using Up Leftover Pieces of 3/4" Boards

Had some ends of boards left over from some other jobs so glued them together and turned them into a platter.
They were 3/4" thick at the start and wound up at about 3/8" thickness in the platter.. The platter is 11.75" diameter. That is about the maximum that can be turned on my little Jet 1220 mini lathe
There is a combination of beech and walnut and birch in the platter.
It actually has a high shine but my night time picture taking doesn't show it much.
