Using Liquid Diamonds resin

Has anyone used inlace dust mixed in with Liquid Diamonds to color it?? While we are at it has anyone used mica powders mixed with LD for color. I am looking to get some glitter look to my color mix. Thanks

John, I've used mica powder to color and had good results. If your doing multiple colors I get the best results when you wait to mix till they get to 120 degrees so you have good separation. It can take a while so periodic stirring and a ir thermometer are helpful.

Yes, I have had success with both mica powder and Pearl Ex Pigments in Liquid Diamonds. Did not have Inlace at the time I had Liquid Diamonds.

OK this is one color but good info and I will give it a try. I did not want to use black so will try some other color. Thanks.

I've also had success with mica powders, glitter and iron filings. best to wait until it thickens a bit or the heavier materials will settle.to the bottom side of the LD. Good luck.
