Just a quick update on my dad. He was transferred to a bigger Hospital in San Antonio on Monday and will undergoe surgery Wednesday morning at 9:30 am central time. The surgery will be lung surgery where they go in and basically clean out all of the pus that has acumulated and any mass that they find.
The surgeon and pulmonologist both have looked at the CT scans and are fairly certain that any mass that was seen is NOT cancer! That is amazing since the local radiologist and surgeons here all said they were 95% certain it WAS cancer. We will know for sure some time tomorrow.
I have only been home to sleep since all of this started on Friday but am very glad that I am self employed and can take the time to be there for my mom and dad. Both of my sisters have to work and can not be off as much as I can.
I will update my IAP family as I get more news. I am praying that the next update will be that it is not cancer. Thanks again to all who have had us in their prayers.
