UCSC Graduation, it was great but......

I got really annoyed by the protest of the UC workers during graduation. i thought it was classless and shameful. This day is meant for the graduates and they took it away cause they felt it was right to protest. I think it was flat out wrong and stupid.

I don't know what happened at the USCS graduation, but I recently attended my nephews graduation in Pearland, and was very annoyed and frustrated. This was a large class of over 1200 graduating seniors, held on the football field. Our problem was two-fold. First the seniors themselves were hollering and yelling so much that we could hardly hear the names called for the graduates to cross the stage. Secondly the so-called adults around us in the nose-bleed section were laughing and talking so much that if the seniors had been quiet, we still couldn't have heard the names being called. Thankfully, my nephews last name was in the G's so we were only there 2 hours before he walked across, and we immediately left. There is just no respect for things anymore.
