Type of wood?

For the life of me I can not remember / know this type of wood. Any help would be appreciated!

Marblewood. Another name is Indian Ebony.

Thanks...I knew it was a pretty common one but could not remember it for the life of me. I have friends over that were curious what it was called and I knew someone would have the answer within minutes!

No problem... glad to help! It is getting really weird to me that I can spot so many species so easily now after turning pens for a few years. But I always find more that I have not seen everyday.
