Thanks to Lenny, who I have never met or corresponded with, I am now addicted to Perfect Fits. They are fun to make. Here are my latest. The first in Amboyna Burl and the second in Thuya Burl with ground turquoise filling the voids and cracks. Comments and critiques welcome.

I'm guessing no tenon is needed for these? Where are you getting this kit from?

Nice timbers on both, and nicely finished too!

That is a nice kit - and I like the woods you put with them.

The perfect fit kit is available from Berea Hardwoods. I recommend spending the extra $3.00 to get the titanium gold. My son writes everyday with one I made him and the finish has completely worn off. I think he's been using it regularly for about two years. (I was able to take it to the buffing wheels and make it look pretty good though!)

I get mine from Ernie @ BTW. Ti. Gold certainly recommended.

The beauty of this kit as well, it will accept the Schmidt 0.7mm pencil mech. with no further alterations. Great for a pen/pencil set!

Wrong!:) 1⅞" from the cap end, turn down to the brass tube!

You also need a B mandrel, unless of course you want to TBC. Hmm. Does JohnnyCNC make TBC bushings for this kit? Will have to check that out.
I have 2 sets from johnny for the PF. Don't know if he has or makes them still!

Just got off of his site. Didn't see them. Guess I'll have to special order them if I want to go that route.
