Hi,

Here are two filagree pens - one made from Osage Orange (given to me from a mate, Mark Priestly) and one made from Carob (as in the chocolate substitute).

The Carob has an interesting provenance. It is from a tree planted by one of NSW Australia's first Governors, Lachlan Macquarie in 1812 (ish). This tree is alive and well in Old Governent House in Parramatta NSW. I believe that although few others have this wood, no-one else has made a pen from it. Many thanks to my mate Ian Thomson for this.

Let me know what you think
Juz
