I have a customer looking for a twist pen with rollerball. I'm wondering if this is something that is out there, or are all twist pen ballpoint? He wants the smooth writing of the rollerball withou the hassle of a cap.

Try some of Ed & Dawn's EZ Flow 9000 "Parker-type" refills -- they are smooth!
Tony at TheGoldenNib also sells a Super Bowl 8900 refill which I think is the same or similar.

The Schmidt Super Bowl or MonteVerde Super Roll are capless rollers that will replace any parker style ballpoint refill. The easyFlow 9000 is a very smooth cartridge, but is not a roller.
