I've done a few over the years but I will tell you the real tail feather of a turkey is very hard to work with. They are very stiff with a thick quill and their large broad size makes it hard to capture a nice pattern on small brass pen tubes. I stopped offering Turkey feather blanks a few years back because of the time and luck involved with getting a successful cast. Laser engraving , polymer or photo label images may be the way to go.
