close enough for government work. Looks great!
"government work" that's what we called it when we did personal experiments (off the clock of corse) at the machine shop I used to work at. if you have a different meening, I don't get it. but I will take it as a compliment. cuz I like compliments.

Whenever I attempt something and it looks real close to what I imagined, I call it close enough for government work. So yes, it is a compliment. Sorry for the confusion.

A few have asked for my recipe. I have givin this a lot of thought. I can't begin to say how much I value being a member of this sight. everyone is so open and giving when it comes to helping others succeed. I would like to thank the person who I have had a few PM's with on this subject. but I will not name him, cuz others might not thank him for helping to ease my conscience. there is still one major flaw in this blanks that I have to work out. when I am 100% sure that I have a quality product, I would like to be able to sell it at a more reasonable price than tru-stone. I will be able to carry the technique over to other colors and have something unique to offer. so sorry folks, but for the time being, this one is mine.:peace:
