I hope this will give everyone a general idea of how thin these barrels can be turned down to. In the first pic, that is the smaller bushing of the lower barrel (jr. gent II). So there is still room over the quarter (middle picture) using the diameter of smaller bushing. The last bushing is the larger lower barrel bushing.

I hate to dig this up, but someone was asking about how thin these blank can go when turning. And I'm not near a computer to copy the link

yeah but can you do 2 of them. the 1st being on the tube sanded almost non existent and then suspend a 2nd over the top of it like it has a shadow?:eek:

these are the thoughts I have in the middle of the night.:sleepy:
