Hi everybody I am south in the wide bay area well away from were the cyclone crossed but a good friend of mine owned yes I said owned a sawmill at Flying Fish Point in the direct path. The sawmill has been torn apart planers, saw benches all machinery has been drenched in water or smashed by flying debris, offices destroyed and the shed were he keeps his Western Star trucks had
12x12 posts they were snapped off and a 10x10 rsj has come down
across the bonnets of 2 of the Stars but he said tonight he was to affraid to see what damage has been caused to the motors. He
was still laughing though, he said he is still alive. He is one
tough SOB that would give the shirt off his back. So guys this is one fellow that could do with some prayers. He said that he would keep an eye out for some timber for me??? Lost his livelyhood but still will look for timber, one hell of a guy.

Darren look like we going to pay a lot of money for our bananas now [:D], 4000 jobs lost in farming Bananas growers will look at 9 to 10 month to get back in production, total damage $350 millions.

That is for sure Serge it will be hard for the good folk of the tropical north. Lets hope our government will readily support them as they do everyone else.BTW did you get my email mate.
