This tree grows mainly in China and Taiwan. It can be known as a Heavenly tree or a ghetto tree! What is it's name?

Please send your one answer with your IAP name to:

Winner will be announced sometime Sunday and there will be a great box of blanks waiting for you.

Thanks and good luck!

Wow... Still a newby here.. Didn't know we had this nice of people on the board (OK.. I KNOW we have nice people, esp in the support of the sight, etc -- but to just give away wood based on a trivia question...)

This is so cool... And to see another post where the poster is going to look for DI.. talk about crossing fingers!

Everyone is given a number as the answers come to my gmail. On Sunday LOML will pick a number, winner from a "hat".

Good Luck,

BTW, either you guys have computers at your lathes or you aren't busy today. Question must have been waaaaaaaay toooooo easy [B)][:0] I have lost of correct answers.

With X-Mas coming Nov. will probably be our last trivia. I will enlist some help to get a much harder question[:p]

Jim W. Myers is the winner of our Trivia contest.

Answer I was looking for was Ailanthus Altissima.

It's from the family of Simaroubaceae known as the "Tree of Heaven" or "Ghetto Tree"

Congrats Jim, please send me your snail mail and I'll get your prize out to you.

Thanks to all who played and be prepared for Dec. question. I guarantee it won't be as easy.

BTW, there were 34 correct answers[:)]

Wow I can't believe I actually won something.

Thank you for doing this and I emailed my mailing address to you.

Now I have to break out the drill press again and turn a few more pens. (I still do not have a lathe if you can believe that)

I have only turned about 12 so far mostly for family.

Jim, your package was finally mailed today. Sorry for the delay but if you go over to "Other things we make" and read my post you will understand[:)]

One does not complain about the time it takes to get free wood.

The gavel looks good and one day I hope to be able to do stuff like that.

I am not set up right now for pens anyway I am finishing up projects for christmass and it takes alot of room in my small garage. I am making PO box banks and have to get them done before any more pens.

Thank you again for sending them out.

Recieved the box today and all I have to say is WOW.

There are so many different types in here it makes me want to stop working on the other projects and start turning. My wife would of course kill me.

I know I have said this a bunch already but once again THANK YOU.
