Got an interesting effect that was again accidental.
One thing I have learned so far is that I have not learned enough yet.
Timing is very much a large part of that learning curve.
The red was like a lump of jello and the black had barely begun to gel up.
Even though I delayed adding the agent to the red.
Oh well, it does look interesting!

What I have been doing is mixing up the resin and catalyst up first, then pour out some to a second container. This seems to help me get both containers to start thickening up about the same time. When I am using the PVC tubes, once the resin starts to thicken up, I pour them back together into one cup and maybe give it one rotation of a stirring stick. Then pour it into the tube. When I try to pour the two cups into the Tube at the same time, the colors don't mix well for me. I'm just starting out, so I am sure I will find new and better ways to pour the PR.

I learned from the first 2 attempts that the smaller amount sets quicker. I suppose now that I think of it, that's probably because the smaller mass takes less time to heat up from the reaction. The black was about 6.5 oz and the red only about 1 oz.
Maybe I am learning something!
