I crafted a beautiful "dresser-like" chest for my pens. It held 200 pens in a drawer-style cabinet. The drawed slid out and titled to display a set of ten pens. I was bring it home from work, placed it on top of my truck hood to open the locked door...Yeah, you guessed it, it slid off the new wax job and completely exploded when it landed in the parking lot, sending about 150-175 pens all over. Luckily the pens are fine, but are now in a shoebox.

I feel for you, man. That really sucks. At least the pens are ok. So when will you build a new box with a non-skid bottom?

Sorry that happened to you, but, there is a bright side . . . . when you rebuild your next case you will be able to incorporate all the things you thought about after the other one was finished . . . . oh yea, one other thing . . . the next one gets rubber feet . . .
