we had 3 Tornadoes last night -this morning, one hit the next community over and pretty much cleared it off the map, a little place called Purdy, it a\Ain't too Purdy any more, it touched down about 1/4 mile up the road from my house and stayed on the ground for about two miles, I was going to go to the shop and turn some pens but the State Troopers turned me back power lines and trees down all over, this was the closest one we've had. I'm going to go in a back road and see if I can help clear some debris. My son lives in Selmer and a small one hit smack downtown it leveled a small shopping center, and tore the roof off one of his houses, fortunately it was vacant, they were trying to fix it up for a rental.
We've had nearly 20 inches of rain in the past 30 hours.

Down our way it hurricanes, Tornado's are worse in my opinion. They give you very little warning and no time to react if you are not already prepared. With Hurricanes you have a week or more to be prepared should it come ashore over you. Glad your safe.

glad u r ok, a couple of weeks ago my area went through the same thing, it leveled a trailer court,, then a big development several miles away, luckily not one person was killed, just property which can b replaced.... Keep an eye to the sky it has just got cranked up for this season... everyone b safe and I am sure the good Lord will watch over us.......

Sorry to hear all this Ken . A tornado hit my old house a few years ago , just two months after I sold it . You must be waterlogged down there . Hope it dries up soon .

Glad you're safe. The weather has been really crazy. I drove through a snow storm to town this morning to pickup a new stove and dishwasher for a rental....What's the deal it's MAY.......
