Toni's Creations

Wow!! after looking at that I didn't realize how inticate the work is, give me a cross cut hardwood to turn-I think it is easier than that. Along with the skill of course there is an artistic mind at work, how priviledged we are to have such artists like that on the forum. Amos:)

Let me jump in and get on the record here. I fully support and agree with both the intent and the details of this thread. Toni's work is incomparable, both in the pens she does and posts here, and many other projects she does elsewhere that I have seen. In the PC community her work is accepted as the benchmark others aspire to.

I consider Toni to be a good personal friend, and we have corresponded extensively, both personally and on pen and other art related topics. We are both familiar with each others work and have both given and requested advise and critiques from each other. I have seen many of the projects that get posted here before they are posted, and have also sent previews of my work to her before posting.

If my replies or comments on her work seem inappropriate, overly critical or otherwise insufficiently awestruck, rest assured that it is all in the good spirits, between friends, and not in any way a slight against her or her artwork. I'm not jealous, spiteful, or meanspirited (at least not on purpose) and I'm fairly confident that Toni will confirm this here shortly (once she wakes up).

I learned about polymer clay designing prior to joining IAP. When I saw Toni's designs, I was stunned and in awe of the intricacy, detail, imagination and thoughtfulness that goes into every one of her creations. As I have had the opportunity to get to know her a little better, I find her to be non-assuming and humble and a wonderful individual as well as an artist. She is an inspiration and makes me proud to be a member of this group of artisans. Doc
