Here is today's cast. I called it Scrap Metals because it was made from metallic colored powders. Some of them had larger particle sizes, large enough that I would call them glitter instead of just a pigment.

It is Alumilite Clear Slow, and the pigments were all Eye Candy brand.

30% Amaterasu Silver
30% Imperial Gold plus a little Nugget Gold
25% Iwa Copper and a little Shu Copper
15% Vibrant Bronze

I'm sure they mixed and swirled more than what it looks like on the outside of the blank as the resin kind of clings to the outside of the PVC mold as it is being poured in leaving the outside looking more blotchy than the inside. For example: Here is a green one I made a few weeks ago vs it's blank - note the difference in the pattern.

Anyway, here is a picture of the blanks that I just de-molded. I wish I would have had some "glitter like" powder to add to the sliver. I think it would have made a much nicer looking blank considering the sparkle in the other colors. From the outward appearance, this blank is the least favorite one I have poured so far but we will have to see what a pen looks like. I hope it surprises me.

Those look great Dave! Are you using some kind of bent wire to swirl or is it all in the pour? I have everything sitting in my garage to pour I just haven't pulled the trigger on that yet.

Really neat color combinations Dave, the "sparkle" you've added really adds some eye appeal too. Please update this post when you turn it down into a pen.

One trick I saw (don't remember where) is to put 1 (or more) skewers in the mold before you pour. Some of the resin sticks on the skewers "mixing" them up a little pit. Once done pouring I simply pull them out one at a time which also introduces some "mixing". Can help some if you are not wanting a more layered look that you can sometimes get.
