Todaya, the Supreme court has decided that the second amendment applies to EVERY city and EVERY state in its disposition of the Chicago Gun Ban.

It's about time. Chicago's had the gun ban for 26 years. Finally they woke up and smelled the roses.
 
New York State has had a law called The Sullivan Law that has been in effect for at least 60 years that I can remember. Almost impossible to even own a gun. It is one of the reasons I moved to Florida 24 years ago. Here I can legally carry a weapon for protection.
