To dye?

If I were to go about dyeing a wooden rifle stock, are there any products out there anyone can recommend?

Starting a Mosin Nagant project soon and considering my options. =)

I've used water based analine dyes on many projects and I've never been disappointed. You can get the powders (or concentrated liquids) pretty easily, and mix them with distilled water. Woodcraft is a good source. I have never used an oil based analine dye, so I can't speak to its use. Someone else here likely can. For me, the end result has always been worth the effort.
